Course Description

Psychology involves the study of people's actions (behaviour) and the thought processes in their mind and is therefore often referred to as the science of the mind and behaviour. By learning about psychology, you can develop a better understanding of people and the world around you. Pupils will learn to describe and explain behaviour through proposed theories; as well as learning the practical research skills of gathering and analysing data. Pupils will have the opportunity to work towards achieving a National 5 qualification in Psychology in S4.
